Solidity and aesthetics: high-value structure in Los Altos Hills

Deep Foundation Engineering

Given the pool’s proximity to a steep ravine, we engineered 25-foot deep foundations to secure the structural support posts. This critical infrastructure guarantees absolute stability, ensuring the entire build remains completely unyielding to the slope and shifting terrain conditions.

Premium Material Excellence

We sourced only top-tier lumber, selecting premium Brazilian Ipe and clear, knot-free cedar. This choice goes beyond luxury aesthetics; it ensures superior weather resistance and long-term durability, protecting the investment through meticulous, high-precision installation.

SMART DESIGN

Integrating functionality and security in complex environments

For this project, the ultimate challenge wasn’t just visual—it was a feat of structural resilience. The site’s geography demanded deep technical excavation to pour the footings for the custom cedar gazebo. Our intervention delivered the rock-solid foundation required to anchor a structure of this scale, transforming a challenging terrain into a perfectly secure, tranquil retreat.

Beyond the main build, we implemented a strategic space-saving solution: a hidden equipment vault tucked beneath the deck. Meticulously engineered and waterproofed, this space conceals the pool’s filtration systems, keeping them completely out of sight and safe from moisture. The result is a premium outdoor experience where invisible engineering steps back, allowing the warmth of the wood and the horizon views to take center stage.
